Pellicut die-cutting unit

The Pellicut is a heavy duty module for precise die-cutting. It includes a W type anti-deflecting system to avoid pressure cutting variation and a die equalizer system to correct the thickness inconsistency of magnetic plate. This unit is fully servo-motorized and is equipped with a cassette system allowing quick change of the die. This patented technology enables to die-cut with regular die down to .48 mil (18 microns) polyester film or 20 lbs SCK or glassine at a speed of up to 750 ft/min. (225 m/min.). For this application, the PET film liner represents a 40% reduction in liner weight over industry standard. That translates into more labels per roll and less roll changes. The Pellicut is offered as a stand-alone unit or could be retrofitted to the Cohesio or to an existing servo label press.
